Jean's Farm Parent Hub · Last updated 2 September 2026
Jean's Farm Parent Hub (“the Hub”) is how Jean's Farm School communicates with the families enrolled in its classes. By using the Hub you agree to what follows.
Accounts are created by the school. There is no open sign-up — a teacher adds you, and until she approves your number you cannot sign in. Each account belongs to one parent or guardian of a currently enrolled child.
You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code sent by text. Keep your phone secure: anyone who can read your texts can sign in as you. Tell the school right away if your number changes or your phone is lost.
There are two kinds of text from us, and you agree to them separately:
Your sign-in code. A one-time verification code that you ask for yourself, each time you sign in, by tapping the button on the sign-in page. It is not a subscription and it is the only text we send without your opting in to notices.
Messages come from Jean's Farm at .
School notices by text are optional. You must opt in before we send them — by ticking the box on the sign-in page, or later in Settings — and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. Reply HELP for help.
If you want fewer texts, choose which kinds come by text in Settings. You can keep the urgent ones and turn the rest off there — you do not need to reply STOP to cut down on texts.
STOP stops every text, including urgent safety notices and the codes you use to sign in. Some messages — a safety report about your child, for example — are sent by text and cannot be turned off inside the app, precisely because they matter. Replying STOP turns those off too, and it also stops the one-time codes you need to sign in.
If you have already replied STOP: reply START to any of our messages and then ask for a new sign-in code in the app — we are not told when your carrier lifts the block, so nothing will reach you until you ask again.
If you opt in, school notices by text are things like schedule changes, permission slips, tuition reminders, and urgent safety notices. Message frequency varies with school activity — typically fewer than 10 messages a month. Message and data rates may apply, and they are charged by your mobile carrier, not by us. If you do not opt in, we will not send you school notices by text.
You can also connect Telegram, or receive email, from your settings page. Those are in addition to text messages, not a replacement for the urgent ones.
Parents can post in the Circle and add photos to school albums. Both are shared by every family the school has enrolled — they are not separated by class or by group. Post only what belongs in a school of young children:
Anyone can report a post. Reported posts are hidden from everyone while the teacher reviews them, and the teacher can remove anything from the Hub at any time.
Amounts, due dates and any late policy are set by the school, not by the Hub. The Hub shows you what the school has recorded and reminds you when something is due. If a figure looks wrong, talk to the school — correcting it is the school's decision.
The Hub is a small system run by a small school. It can be down, slow, or wrong. It is not an emergency service: if something is urgent, call the school. We do not guarantee that any particular message will arrive, and delivery of text messages depends on your mobile carrier.
Your access ends when your child is no longer enrolled, or if you use the Hub in a way that harms other families. You can ask the school to remove your account at any time; see the Privacy Policy for what happens to your information.
If these terms change in a way that affects you, the school will tell you through the Hub before the change takes effect.
